1. Procurement and installation of system for vacuum degassing of water
The project covered complete technological change of the process for water degassing (removal of the O2 and CO2 from the water) in DHP Istok. The realization of the project covered procurement of technical documentation, procurement of new equipment, its installation and commissioning.
The scope of the project was to replace the existing process of water degassing (thermal degassing) with new, modern and far more efficient method of water degassing. The degassing capacity of the system is between 15-30 m3/h. The introduction of this system into the process of heat production increased the energy efficiency of the system and decrease in the exploitation costs.
The activities for realization of the project began on April 2015 and were finished on October 2015. Our company Proizvodstvo na toplina Balkan Energy DOOEL Skopje led the project to its final implementation. The installation of the equipment was performed by our company and the commissioning was performed by the equipment supplier – COROSYS, Germany.
The installation and the commissioning of the system for vacuum degassing allowed:
- Increased reliability and better functionality of the system for water treatment.
- Better energy efficiency
- Further integration in supervisory SCADA system
- Low maintenance costs
- Increased safety of the system
2. Procurement and replacement of the circulation pumps in DHP
The project covers installation and replacement of the existing circulation pumps with new ones. The final goal of this project is to perform systematic replacement of the old (existing) pumps with new ones in order to increase the energy efficiency of the pump stations across the district heating plants.
The new pumps will increase the reliability of the pump station as well as will reduce the exploitation costs.
The activities for realization of the project began on April 2015 and were finished on October 2015. Our company Proizvodstvo na toplina Balkan Energy DOOEL Skopje led the project to its final implementation. The installation of the equipment was performed by our company and the commissioning was performed by joint cooperation between the KSB representative in Macedonia and the equipment supplier – KSB – Germany.
The installation and the commissioning of the new circulation pumps allowed:
- Increased reliability and better hydraulics of the heat distribution network
- Increased energy efficiency
- Reduced maintenance costs
- Increased safety of the system
