1. Procurement and installation of new gas flow meters for the boilers inside DHP Istok and DHP Zapad
This project covered procurement and installation of gas flow meters with totalizers and another separate procurement of totalizers for part of the existing gas flow meters in DHP Istok and DHP Zapad. The objective of the project was to achieve unification of the principle of gas flow metering and display of parameters from all gas flow metering devices along both district heating plants.
The implementation of this project raised the level and quality of parameters metering and also provided conditions for immediate integration of this subsystem into the current data acquisition system in DHP Istok and DHP Zapad and also further integration in the planned supervisory system (SCADA) that it is planned to be implemented in the next few years.
2. Implementation of supervisory control and data acquisition system along district heating plants Istok and Zapad
This project presents the long-term commitment of the company towards equipment and process modernization along the district heating plants. The project is consisted from procurement of equipment and software for Supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) for the subsystems in DHP Istok and DHP Zapad.
The complete procurement of the software and the equipment for supervisory control and acquisition is product by the company EMERSON.
The scope of this project is to increase reliability, functionality and efficiency of the heat production process in both district heating plants.
The increased process efficiency will provide benefits for the end users through appropriate bills reduction. The final implementation of this project in certain future will provide reliable system for supervision and control of processes during heat production, secure heat delivery as well and continuous data acquisistion of all operational parameters inside the district heating plants.
3. Automation of hot water boiler VKSM 60/1 in DHP Istok
This project is part from the company’s long term commitment for implementation of Supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) for the subsystems in DHP Istok and DHP Zapad. The hot water boilers are the production units that provide the base heat load in DHP Istok and DHP Zapad.
The project for automation of the hot water boiler VKSM 60/1 represents first step towards completion of the implementation of the SCADA project. The implementation of the project includes installation of command and control equipment, which allowed autonomous and automatic operation of the hot water boiler. It also increased reliability, security in operation and boiler efficiency.
The automatic operation of the boiler almost completely excluded manual operation of the boiler, and due to this the boilers operates efficiently thus providing benefits for the end users through appropriate bills reduction.
4. Flow measurement orifices on VKSM boilers
This project is part from the company’s long term commitment for implementation of Supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) for the subsystems in DHP Istok and DHP Zapad.
The objective of the project was to achieve unification of the principle of water flow metering and display of parameters from all water flow measurement orifices along both district heating plants.
The implementation of this project raised the level and quality of parameters metering and provided conditions for immediate integration of this subsystem into the current data acquisition system in DHP Istok and DHP Zapad and also its integration in the supervisory system (SCADA),which is in progress.
